ProFlow™ Series Delivery Industrial Carts: Standard Features
2 Adjustable Shelves w/Removable Halves 27" x 34" shelf halves are designed to lift out of frame rails to allow use of "tall" boxes or totes. Perforated tubing permits floor to top of shelf adjustments between 12"-48" in 3/4" increments. Maximum shelf load: 1000 lbs. @ 30" (for tipping stability). 4-Wheel Caster Steer w/Kingpinless Swivels, Hybrid Low Push/Pull Force Front Rigs/Wheels: kingpinless swivel, 10.13"h x 2.19" lead / 8" x 2", elastomer, 75D durometer, 1800 lbs. capacity. Rear Rigs/Wheels: rigid, 10.13" h / 8" x 2", urethane, 55D durometer, 1800 lbs. capacity. 6-Wheel Caster Steer w/Kingpinless Swivels, Hybrid Low Push/Pull Force Front Rigs/Wheels: kingpinless swivel, 10.13"h x 3.5" Lead / 8" x 2", elastomer, 75D durometer, 1800 lbs. capacity. Center Rigs/Wheels: rigid, 9.5" h / 8" x 2.5", urethane on cast iron hub, 82A durometer, 1640 lbs. capacity. Non-Contact Rear Rigs/ Wheels: swivel, 7.5" h x 1.7" lead / 6" x 2", urethane, 95A durometer, 1200 lbs. capacity. Welded Steel, Industrial-Duty Perimeter Frame w/Powder Paint Finish A36, 3/16"-1/4" channel/angle, 12g tubing. Precision Sealed Wheel and Swivel (rotational deck if appplicable) Bearings Rotation: 3 or 5 sealed 1450 lbs. capacity bearings mounted in welded bearing blocks. Wheels: sealed precision wheel bearings on all load bearing wheels. Built-in Lift Pocket Fits 7" x 24" x 38" Pneumatic or Hydraulic Lifts A36, 1018 3/16"-1/4" angle, 3" backstop plate. "Operator No-Bend" Heavy-Duty Auto-Hitch and Self Stowing, Reinforced Towbar Hitch: compact 3 1/2" h, 5K lbs. rated auto-hitch, ASTM 572 tongue. Towbar: solid steel reinforced welded tubing, ASTM 572 2 1/2" inside diameter x 5/8" eyelette, towbar spring balanced for floating connection or vertical stowing. Heavy Duty Floor Lock w/Auto-Release (towbar activated) 2 1/2" floor clearance with heavy duty replacable pad, towbar down releases floor lock to prevent dragging. MPP™ (modified pivot point) Caster Steering MPP involves shortening cart wheelbase and towbar length so "pivot points" that impact turning and tracking are optimized. Cart rear frame corners fit into "nesting bumpers on the front of the lead cart. This, in effect, "carves" the turn radius reducing the drift of the last cart in the train toward the inside corner of the turn. Advatages of MPP over 4 wheel steering: (1) low deck heights (2) ability to manually push carts (3) no linkage underframe so carts can easily be used over lifts (4) easy manual manipulation of carts into tight lineside spaces. Rated Material Load Capacity (to meet standard ergo-tests) Capacity is based on tare weight of cart, a wheel system designed to keep frame from skidding when tugged through turns particularly when empty and typical load/frequency/distance ergo limits. Higher load capacity may be possible by using other wheel combinations but with a possible risk of skidding in turns. Consult K-Tec. |
